Known for its vibrant, border-shattering sound, acclaimed band Jenny and the Mexicats has been making waves in the Latin music scene for more than a decade. Now, in the midst of a successful European tour, the group celebrates the release of its newest single “Call Me,” available to stream on all digital platforms.
An infectious cumbia-flecked track that captures the ups and downs of romance, telling the story of a complicated reunion with a former lover, “Call Me” highlights the band’s multicultural roots and features Jenny’s expressive trumpet as a powerful main character. The soaring melodies are just as enticing as the relatable lyrics, beckoning fans to get lost in the technicolor musical world that only Jenny and the Mexicats can manage to create.
Having already made stops in major cities such as Nuremberg and London, Jenny and the Mexicats will continue its European trek through the end of May and into the first days of June with stops in Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt and Münster, before heading to the United States for a number of highly anticipated shows in major cities such as Nashville, Denver, and Austin, which will take place throughout the summer and fall. More U.S. dates will be announced shortly.
