DETAILS:
Going to D.C.
I traveled to the nation’s capital last week to speak with lawmakers and business leaders about the urgency of investing in our nation’s infrastructure.
While in Washington, D.C., I spoke on a bipartisan panel at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce about the many innovative ways that government can partner with the private sector to rebuild our roads and bridges. And on a visit to Capitol Hill, I testified before a Senate Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure. As chair of the U.S. Conference of Mayors Infrastructure Task Force, I urged lawmakers to work with cities like L.A. to rebuild communities across America. |
