Wednesday December 12, 2018: Today, GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® nominated band, Locos por Juana premiere the sequel to their most recent video “Tal Vez, Someday.” “Tal Vez, Someday Part 2” is the “after party” of the first video and it showcases another side of the band, highlighting a more refined and elegant style. This is the first time Locos por Juana release two video versions for one single.
“Tal Vez, Someday” is a new sound for Locos por Juana, while at the same time capturing the band’s essence. This is the reason the band decided to think outside the box and create two different versions of the video, “We wanted to show a side of our musicality that has always been there but we had not had a chance to share with our fans,” declared Locos por Juana lead singer, Itawe Correa.
The video for “Tal Vez, Someday Part 2” was filmed on location at SideBar in Miami, Florida. The video directed by Rock the Moon founder, Tony González, was shot using the latest technology in cinematography. To give the video its unique look and feel the director chose to use multiple cameras, the RED Helium, and a throwback, vintage 1980’s VHS camcorder. These extreme differences in grain and picture quality gave the video the dichotomy that Locos wanted to show in the musicality. The mixture of sharp images with amazing color and depth, coupled with the use of creative green screen and animation sequences give the video a cool and edgy “after party” vibe. Once more, Locos por Juana, deliver an entertaining video that is both visually stimulating as it is sonically pleasing.
In a music industry that has been focused on urban genres, Locos por Juana, continue cutting through the noise with their own sound representing an alternative genre of Latin Music that cannot be boxed in by labels. Signed to Rock the Moon, Locos por Juana, have always written and produced their music. “Tal Vez, Someday” is a sensual, rhythmic track that comes for our senses with heartfelt vocals and catchy lyrics, the band’s soul comes through the music. Locos por Juana show no signs of slowing down with new music in the works the band is ready to continue releasing new music in early 2019.
