Renowned Chicano Artist to Unveil New Work on July 31  
  
  
WHAT:     Initially launched in 2012, Red Bull Latagráfica was created to give artists local to Southern California the opportunity to create original artwork and display it on a new medium, a Red Bull 12 oz. can. In 2014, the project is returning to the city in which it started, but this time as Red Bull Latagráfica Edición II.  From January through October, 10 pre-selected artists will each paint one mural that will live on walls in Los Angeles.  One of the ten artists will be invited to create the artwork for the second ever Red Bull Latagráfica can, or Edición II which will hit shelves in early fall.
 
WHO:  Artist, teacher and entrepreneur from East Los Angeles, MAN ONE, believes in the transformational power of art and its ability to save lives and make the world a better place. He developed his love for art while progressing his skills as a graffiti artist on the streets. He improved his talents as a fine artists and increased his understanding of art history at Loyola Marymount University earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. In 2002, MAN ONE founded Crewest Gallery in Los Angeles with a goal of legitimizing graffiti art as a valuable and collectible art form. This in turn, granted graffiti artists a professional venue and forum to showcase their work. Using aerosol, MAN ONE’s art is comprised of his trademark bold and colorful art strokes. He has been featured in museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and The Getty. He has also sold in galleries around the world, including Australia, Germany, New Zealand., Mexico, UK, Japan and Switzerland amongst others.
